Hey everyone, I'm new to the forum section here, but it's such a good site and is nice to see so much stuff from my childhood.

My question is does anyone remember when Fox Kids first premiered in the fall of 1990 when it only had Bobby's World, Attack of The Killer Tomatoes, Tom and Jerry Kids and Zazoo U.

Well, most people younger than myself (I'm 21) don't rememebr what I am taking about, but one of the original Fox Kids bumpers/intro to the shows etc. was this wolf which was part animated, part cardboard looking. Someone remotely my age, must remember it. I have it on tape but I don't ever go home so I can't send it in or anything as of yet.

Yes, I was a member of the Fox Kid's Club in Baltimore, where I grew up. I still have some stickers and promotional materials from it. I remember all those shows, especially Bobby's World. Those were some great times! They used to sponsor promotional stuff at the Baltimore Zoo, like costume day around Halloween. If anyone else grew up in Baltimore, and remembers this stuff, I'd like to hear about it.

Don't tell me you've forgotten about Fun House! I think that was the first show that left the block if I recall....but yeah, I remember those shows....I've got quite a few episodes of Killer Tomatoes, and I remember Bobby's World quite well. Zazoo U, I don't remember at all.


Heh, I know what you mean. I'm 18, and none of my friends remember most of the shows that I watched when I was little.

Oh man, you're lucky. I used to be a massive Killer Tomato fan when I was 5 or 6. I wish I still ahd all of my tapes of that show from their original airdates. I miss the old commericals and seeing old school Fox Kids, getting to see it grow over the years and such.

In the early 90s I remember seeing the show called Johnson and Friends, which aired on the Fox Kids Clubhouse. It was about a stuffed elephant named Johnson and his friends who had different adventures in their owner's room while he was away. That was a cool show, IMO.

Ah yes, I also recall that very well and have some of the commercials for it on some old tapes I know I have lying around back home. I remember one of the friend also being a water/heating bag.

i didn't get Fox until at least 1994 or 95, so i wasn 't around from the beginning, but man that used to be my favourite Saturday morning Block with shows like Bobby's World, Spider-man, Power Rangers, and Dammit, Even Taz-Mania.

Yeah! I LOVED AOTKT and Bobby's world.

I really liked Dynamo Duck. I think he came out in like 92. I remember the original line up and I'm 21. I didn't really notice Tiny Toons moving to Fox because my Fox affilate showed it in syndication too.

Merrie Melodies is not listed...it ran on Fox Kids between 1992 and 1994.

Additionally, I don't think that Defenders of Dynatron City was on Fox Kids. I believe it was in syndication. Therefore, it wouldn't have been a part of Fox Kids but a part of your local Fox affiliate's lineup.

Many people believe that shows on their local Fox affiliate in syndication were actually a part of the Fox Kids lineup. This is a very common misconception. You can find a complete list of the shows shown on Fox Kids on my website at: http://www.blastfromthepasttv.com/foxkidsshowlisting.html

It does not, however, have a list of the specials shown throughout the years. I am still trying to compile a complete list of those.

Defenders aired two eps on fox kids and was then cancelled and brought over and/or continued to keep in syndication i believe. i have the commercial on tape so i doubl checked just to make sure cause u are right some ppl do get it mixed up.

Checking the schedule, i can COnfirm it that it was around the winter of 94 that we had fox, beetleborgs and Goosebumps didn't debut yet, so that's how i remember.

Now that I think about it maybe Defenders of Dynatron City could have aired once or twice as a special to promote the series. Before its debut in syndication, Fox Kids aired an episode of Sailor Moon to promote its premiere. Many Fox affiliates aired Sailor Moon as part of their syndicated blocks in the morning...therefore, the same could have been done for DoDC years earlier.

Thanks for reminding me! And thanks for the line-ups whoever posted it! Those things are helpful. I forgot when Fox Kids started and what played. But I remember most of those shows. I didn't know some of those shows were on Fox. I probably didn't pay attention to networks back then. That was the same time that Disney Afternoon started.

I didn't know they had Warner Bros cartoons on Fox! Most of those were after WB took over WPIX, right?

Didn't Spydogs also air on Fox Kids in the late 90's?
