I've been having trouble remembering this cartoon from the '30's about a snowman that I remmber watching a long time ago. It's not that cartoon titled "The snowman" which features an evil snowman. The animation quality of this cartoon was actually very good and featured those 3d model backgrounds (the character's are cel animated). It opens with the camera overlooking a snowy town street at night time, where the camera zooms on a snowman, the snowman comes to life and starts doing things, this dog starts chasing the snowman, and even bites a chunk out of the snowman's ass. A few more antics happen before the snowman goes in a puddle and gets wet and starts to dissolve. The snowman fixes this problem by rolling down a snowy hill, his head ends up becoming bigger than his body so he has to switch the balls his body consists of around. That's all I can remember, it could very well be a max fleischer cartoon, but I could be wrong. Does anybody have any ideas?

looking back on it, I never realized I never seen the whole thing, the version I had was on a christmas vhs which only played the first 4 to 5 minutes of the cartoon

lol I thought I was the only one who seen that cartoon in my childhood. I actually asked a couple questions about it not long ago as well. It took me along time to find this! All I could remember was the snowman in the house, I seem to remember him going through their things or something but it doesn't show that on youtube, I don't think it's the entire cartoon. Also I remembered it as more realistic looking, like an actual live action snowman almost. Funny how your brain remembers things from your childhood. I am so happy I found this though. Not on here haha I found it awhile back through alot of research and all people kept telling me also was it was "The Snowman" and nobody knew what I was talking about lol
