One word: OBSESSED.

Does anyone know about this? This was an early 80s thing. There are still books about these people to this day.

The little miss and mr. men were standard people (one color w/ head, feet and arms) and they were all adjectives. Little Miss Naughty, Mr. Tickle, Little Miss Bossy, Mr. Happy, etc.

Anyway, there were two videos out that I would rent back to back to back, "Little Miss Trouble and Friends" and "Little Miss and Friends." They were terribly animated but I loved them so much. I later learned that there was a Mr. Men Show. I also had almost every single book. Later I found out that Arby's had their own type of Happy Meals featuring them. Did anyone else love them, read about them, or watch them?

I've recently started buying old Mr. Men books. I got the 84 annual that I had when I was a kid a few ago, and more recently a couple of the story books. I couldn't believe how budget the colouring was in the really early ones. I used to have a neat Mr. Greedy toy which I wish I still had. They had a bunch of figures in a shop here, but there were no prices on them so I didn't buy any.

I loved those tiny Miss and Mr books! Ah, I miss them. Wouldn't it be cool if they made a compilation book of all of them? :D

I did a parody book on my site a while ago, but I don't think it turned out as funny as it seemed when I dreamed it up.

Perhaps one of the greatest moments of my life was in a Toy store in London when I met Adam Hargreves, son of Roger the creator. Adam had taken over making the Mr men books and he was drawing and signing pics of the Mr men!

Yes I loved them had every book!

I remember the Mr. Men and Little Miss show that was hosted by people in overalls. I had a few of the meal toys. We use to read the Mr. Men and Little Miss books in my French class and then translate them.

OMG! I was JUST looking at old Mr.Men things on Saturday and was gonna post something about them here but decided not to! I remember in like the mid 90's they had a cartoon that would show on Fox in the afternoon just when I got got home from school. I used to read th ebooks during Library time when I was a bit younger also because they were so fun and easy to read, I liked the pictures of the Mr.Men(and women) and see the funny names the all had to match their personalities.

So funny that I was just reading up on this subject. Looking that stuff up brought back some old memories of elementry school days.

I remember Mr men too. Mr Nonsence was my fave. I've heard that a new series in 3D will be out this year. I guess that some new characters will appear like Mr Cool.

I remember Mr Men. You can't ever hardly find the books anymore which sucks. They were good books.
It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa

A new series??? In 3D? Wha what? I never heard of that before. Where are you getting this information? I honestly cannot picture the Little Miss and Mr. Men updated for the 2000s. That's 80s all the way for me.

I thought at one time I heard that Roger Hargreaves (creator and writer) died of aids. Is that true?

                      Yes. Mr. Men especially.

Other kids used to drag around their He-Man and other assorted action figures with them everywhere they went... I lugged around my box of Mr. Men books.

I loved the back covers of the books because it was essentially a gallery of the characters. Later releases would show more characters, etc.

I wasn't fond of their female counterparts. However, Little Miss Sunshine was a cutie.

I loved the Mr. Men and Little Miss books! I remember the 90's TV show that aired on UPN that had kooky live-action segments with the animated cartoons in between! It was cool!

                              "Helllllllllllo. I'm the newslady."

She was my only favorite live segment of that show.

I do think he died, as I said above his Son is now the artist and I would imagine writer aswell.

My little brother had a few of the books, but the only one I remember was "Little Miss Chatterbox." Or maybe that was originally mine, I can't remember.

There were both a Little Miss Chatterbox and a Mr. Chatterbox. I think they were brother and sister. I doubt any of the Little miss or Mr. Men dated...LOL

Mr Small and Little Miss Tiny would have been a good couple.
