I remember watching some live-action kids' show from the early 90s that had a family and some elephant. The only other part of the show I remember is the song that they'd sing in every episode: "Skid-a-rink-a-dink, Skid-a-rink-a-do, I love you! Skid-a-rink-a-dink, Skid-a-rink-a-do, yes I do! I love you in the morning, I love you in the noon. I love you in the evening under the shining (?) moon, ooohhhh...." (And it continues.) Anyone remember the name of that show? It's been driving me crazy for a long time, so a big props to anyone who can help me.

"Sharon, Lois and Bram's Elephant Show", and now you've got that song stuck in my head.

It was called "The Elephant Show", then changed to "Sharon, Lois & Bram's Elephant Show."

I had to sing that song at a Christmas party last year in front of a bunch of stuffy math profs. Good times. I won the centrepiece!

Eric Nagler was featured on The Elephant Show. I saw him in concert when I was a kid.

found this it's actually from the show

                  http://youtube.com/watch?v=1ecvjtGsIUc

and this one just has the skinamarinki song in it, the video part doesn't have anything to do with the show though.

I remember when I was a kid my friend telling me that she met Sharron Lois and Bram on an airplane. I asked if Elephant was there. I guess I wasn't smart enough at 9 years of age to realize that he wouldn't wear a big grey elephant costume all the time.

Is TVO as good today as it was in the 80s?

That sure was a catchy song! 18 years later, the song is still unforgettable!

TVO has changed its programming to be geared towards today's youths. I used to watch a lot of TVO when I was a kid. I flipped by TVO a while ago and they were showing things like Teletubbies and Polka Dot Shorts. Definitely not the calibre it was back in the days of Eureka's Castle, Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, The Polka Dot Door, Ghostwriter, Join In, The Edison Twins, Harriet's Magic Hats, Fable's of the Green Forest and The Elephant Show...whew! God I miss those days...
