There is virtually no place for us to catch old Saturday Morning cartoons from our childhood nowadays. Boomerang just whores out HB show reruns all day long, that's not exactly my cup of tea. We should make a channel that airs everything we all loved from the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. Not just cartoons but live-action stuff too. Does anyone know how to start a cable channel? I really think we should go through with this.
I don't know how but it's the best idea I've heard in a long time! :D

but first the company would need some kind of proof the the show would be a financial gain or loss. like a way to see if it would generate enough interest, for all we know that could be the reason for all the DVDs releases lately. but then again if they can make money on the DVDs why would they air them?

this would be an absolutely awesome thing, but i think it would have a lot of roadblocks along the way, like being able to prove it's worth the money to do it

I think in my opinion Disney has a good shot of making that happen!
This does sound like a good idea but if I was in charge of it I would have pretty much 70s/80s cartoons/live action shows on it. And some 60s shows would be nice too.

That would be awsomwe. If eveyone at retrojunk pitched in a little bit we can get this show on the road.
There are already a couple of channels out there like that.
Yea, they don't have the Saturday Morning Cartoons...
But I know there's a channel called "RTN" or Retro Television Network, of which shows constant old shows on top of the obvious TV-Land channel... but it would be nice if there was a 'toon channel which showed the shows that were licensed to NBC, ABC, CBS, and even Fox (the 80's shows were much better, however).
