Hey does Cogs Hollow mean anything to anyone? It was a vhs i had when I was a kid (bout 91) wondered if anyone remembers, or better yet has a copy?

It starts with a truck pulling a merry go round crashes off the road and all the different merry go round characters (trucks and helicopters) all come to life.. I think it was meant to be a series but never made it past this pilot. But they are all helping eachother out of the wreckage and finding others in this mystical place. it was awesome as it wasn't a cartoon. they were real objects being filmed which gave it a real mystical quality. I really hope someone else out there knows what im babbling on about.
Found this short description on a website "One stormy night a trailer carrying the Merry Mechanicals Carousel crashes and leaves a twisted mass of metal. One by one the little characters come to life as the magic of Cogs Hollow touches them." Unfortunately no pics tho and the site stopped selling it in 94

Oh my god, I so do! It was the best thing ever!!! I had the video and have been looking for it anywhere, but NO ONE remembers it!!!!!

:D :D Someone else knows it!!! :D :D I cannot find it anywhere (not even a picture!) man I wish i kept the video. Wasnt it meant to be the first of many, but never carried on after the pilot video? Cant beleive someone else remembers!! made my day (I didnt make it up!!)

Do you know I can't even remember, god knows where my parents found it! It was on this video with this other cartoon called Bertie Bat which no one else remembers either.
I wish so much I'd kept the video as well, there's literally no mention of it on the internet anywhere.
Haha I actually can't believe someone else used to watch it, I've never found anyone else ever bar this one person on myspace (cooool).
Oh the happy memories. Singing screwdrivers. Oxy (was that the fire extinguisher?). Talking fairground rides. Those were the days!!!

Introducing Cogs Hollow
Cogs Hollow is a magical place. A very secret place, although not a stones throw away from a busy motorway.
Into it one dark and stormy night fell the Merry Mechanicals Carousel together with the trailer it has been travelling on when lightning struck, sending it crashing down the mountain side. Daylight revealed the trailer and carousel lying in a twisted sorry tangle. The colourful little characters - beloved by children, lay scattered around unmoving; until one by one the magic of the hollow touched them to life.
Running time: 52 minutes approximately

I remember Bertie The Bat. In fact I have the video that you are talking about. The video is called "Junior Jamborie"

So pleased to have found some people who have also heard of Cogs Hollow, i had begun to think i had imagined it! I'm going to search through my loft tonight to see if i still have my copy! It needs to be introduced to the world!! If we generate enough interest maybe they would bring it back!!

Yes I do remember Cogs Hollow, It was about fairground characters and I think the lorry had an accident one night and they ended up undiscovered in the hollow. My daughter had the video but sorry, we don't know what happened to it... must have given it to a jumble sale or something. We've been racking our brains for days trying to remember what it was called because we were telling the little boy next door about it.

I need this! can someone please copy the tape, or put it on dvd, or put it on the internet or email it to me! please please please! i always remember that grumpy purple one getting some beans or something, and the house lost it's roof in the wind! someone please reply fast, i'm desperate!
