I have not seen this movie in 2 decades, I've recently gotten it on DVD and it's still is a great movie, but since I was so young, I never knew who played in it (with the exception of Michael J. Fox, David Naughton and Stephen Furst). I never knew the guy who plays Marvin (of the yellow team) would be "Bad News" (the character) from Good Times and I never knew Debra Clinger was Superchick from the Krofft Supershow, but most of all, I never knew that MM was made by Disney, either. My, how times have changed.

I was just thinking of this movie a few weeks ago. For some reason I was on an Eddie Deezen kick. That guy cracks me up.

I remember it. I have not seen it in years.Was'nt it about a scavenger hunt? My friend and i were hooked on this movie.Too bad i can't remember much about it.I may have to add it to my DVD collection.

They were just spoofing this on Robot Chicken. Tis a good movie! prolly the best version of the Amazing race :P and All it takes is all night to complete!!

Who were your most and least fave teams in MM? For me:
Yellow Team: Definitely the best
Blue Team: Comical, but they don't know their a**es from a hole in the ground
Green Team: Maybe jocks, but at least the got more brains than the Blue team
White Team: Very comical
Red Team: 2 are feminists and the others like to eat and have fun

One of my all time favs...You guys know this is based on a real thing? Some guy in cali used to do it...not sure if he still does... they based the movie on it.Good times

You mean there was actually somebody before Leon?
i saw it on 20/20 or dateline or one of those primetime news shows...yeah there was a real guy who had a game set up just like the movie....dif teams with colors and they had to go around L.A i think it was..ok here it is...i remember now...if anyone has it on DVD if you take the cover out of the sleeve there is writing on the back..looking at mine now :o says here that they wrote a story about it in the LA times..not sure if that helps anyone who is looking for more info but this is all it says about it : Midnight Madness is based on an actual underground campus game run by a Leon-type character that co-writers/directors Michael Nankin and David Wechter read about in The Los Angeles Times. There im tapped ;)
