How many of you New Jerseyans used to watch your dear old Uncle Floyd on all the classic New Jersey stations? The last time I saw him on TV was around 20 years ago on WNJT from Trenton, NJ. Uncle Floyd would play his piano, tell his jokes, and throw the wildest skits. Floyd Vivino is a New Jersey legend and he's still going at it as only he can. There again, with a cast of people named Mugsy, Weenie, Loonie Skip Roonie, Toastmaster Scott, and Netto, you know you're in for a crazy ride. Long live Uncle Floyd!

Hi Rainbow Bright, nice to meet you :) Here's a link to the Uncle Floyd Show. Uncle Floyd is the guy sitting at the table with the plaid hat-

He's actually been on TV since 1974, and his show was once called "the worst kids show ever made" but it's come to be a cult classic with his skits and his nutty friends backing him up. I saw this guy live a few times and I can't say enough about him! :)

I do not live anywhere NJ, but it does sound pretty cool, is it one of those Cable acces shows?

wow it looks like one whacky show, the guy at the table reminded me of a comedian, who did the comady sketch about the hobo. He wore the same thing he was quite popular if only i could remember his name.

Back in the early 80's he was on Channel 4 NY late at night, and in the mid 80's up to 1987 he was on WNJT Trenton and it's affiliates, channels 23, 50, 52 and 58, right after the reruns of Dark Shadows of all shows.

He MAY be on cable now, you'd have to do some searching. Seeing him live as I have several times, is a blast. You'll laugh yourself sick.

One of my fave skits was "Cowboy Charlie". Floyd wore this huge ten gallon hat and these great big fake ears and a long nose, and he would play guitar and drawl along to his own made-up country songs. This one would have me in stitches. What a great guy he is.

Ahh yes, the Uncle Floyd Show. The Ramones made an appearence on that TV show in the late 70's I think, maybe even early 80's. Cool suff, kinda odd and loopy but a cool show none the less.

The Ramones made several appearances in the late 70's and early 80's. the highlights are on their Ramones Raw DVD, and DeeDee made an appearance with the band the Spikey Tops in the early 90's.
