Here a onld memory, Entertech watergun. I wanted this gun when I was little. Yet they had cause a problem with their realistic look.

Were those the ones that fired fully automatic small bursts of water?
Oh man! I had 2 of those!!
The Water Hawk and the AK Centerfire! I remeber those commercials. At the end, the kids aimed the guns at the camera and soaked them!!!

I had one similar to these.I had an UZI model.
Yup, the battery powered guns used to be really popular before Super Soakers basically made them obsolete. For a while, you could still get them in crazy bright colors but eventually they got phased out since they looked too realistic. I had a couple made by Larami mentioned in an old thread. Hell, I remember bringing my uzi to school once for Halloween. Think that would fly today?

i don't think that would fly today unless you want a visit from local and state police,the FBI,the ATF.etc.....
I had them, they kinda stung when your were shot with them that I remember. One year we had them out at a family party and everyone was shotting them on top of the house etc it was so much fun. They looked so reallike to im suprized we never got in trouble but we lived in the country.
From what I remember, there was one fundamental flaw to all those things:
Mine used to leak water from the magazine into the battery compartment.
The magazines used the same method as the old school water pistol to seal in the water (that little plastic tab that sealed a giant hole). Not to mention the battery compartment wasn't watertight.
There's one on ebay going for $200 - MIB (buy it now price)
