I absolutely loved this film when I was a kid, but I never saw the "unedited" version until I was in college. The "edited" version that appeared on tv had some of the most hilarious dubs to remove profanity . . . not to mention the excised nudity and cut sex scenes made the whole movie seem like a scattershot series of unrelated events. I remember my "cool" older cousins really thinking the film was an accurate depiction of a high school in the 1980s. What memories do you have?

The scenes with Jennifer Jason Leigh were great...shes a cutie

And of course the very stunning Phoebe Cates<---- HOT!!!

I remember when the dude gets caught masterbating
"Jeez. Doesn't anyone fucking knock any more? "

    Spicoli was a trip.

I also thought that this was a accurate depiction of an 80's High School.

I always wanted to go there just to be like Jeff Spicoli.

Just One of the Guys also had a good depiction of an 80's High School.

I enjoy this movie, and not just because I interviewed Kelli Maroney (who played Cindy in this movie).

I think it has a great soundtrack and a good combination of comedy and drama. I can relate to Brad (Judge Reinhold) the most. He's a good soul, but gets pissed off easily, much like I do.

Oh, and the soundtrack is great, especially "Somebody's Baby" by Jackson Browne and "Goodbye, Goodbye" by Oingo Boingo.

EDIT: I mentioned the soundtrack twice. I guess that shows how much I like it.
