Has it ever occured to anyone here that this whole web site is the X/Y Generation's answer to Reminisce Magazine?

There's always an abundance of these magzines stacked up in the base pharmacy where I'm stationed. (They service lots of old, and I mean ooold retired military folks) Worse yet, I READ THEM! If you don't know what I'm talking about, its a magazine aimed at WW II generation folks with LOTS of reader submitted articles one things like first communion, taking a girl out while on town pass in the military, and lots of other thing that would cause Norman Rockwell to role his eyes at you. ;)

I remember about 1992 seeing the term (generation X) for the first time in Time Magazine. It was defined by the media as anyone between 18 - 30. I've also read/heard it defined as anyone who was the offspring of the Baby Boom. It seemed like after that corporations and advertizers were on an endless quest to market everything to "The X Generation" (a lot of it rather patheticly) All of the sudden everything in the media started to look like it was inspired by an acid trip. Meanwhile I was left thinking, "Man, I was born 10 years too late!"
