I love that show. To this day I still record it and use it as napping material. Other times I just like to enjoy the tranquility of his voice and see how is paintings evolve into simple masterpieces. He was a brilliant painter. RIP Bob Ross.

Theres some great clips on youtube of him.
He's got a real following online...if you go through the comments (or imdb), you won't find anything negative about him...
His show was great. I remember his show and New Yankee Workshop...for some reason I link those two together. Did they use to be on the same day or channel?

Bob Ross! He's my favorite painter!
He was on an episode of "I Love the 80's." Boy I loved those compilations. A good, modern-day trip down Memory Lane...

Patton Oswalt has a whole bit on Bob Ross and William Alexander's paint shows too.
He says Bob Ross was the human quaalude, can't fall asleep just switch on old Bob for a bit.
And he says William Alexander would get into surrealistic rages that had little to nothing to do with actual painting "And the mighty brush with which you will paint shall unleash the forces of Odin!"

I would watch paint over and over and I still don't think my paintings could come out as good as his. It is like magic.
What are you people!? On dope!?
its really ironic how he died he was always relaxed but he died of a heart attack. I miss him.

i actually went to see mr. bob ross once at a state fair. he was giving a class and a demo. but it turned out he died two nights before.
