I have ben searching and trying to remember the name of the woman that hosted Fox Kids, deuring the first copel of years. The name that comes to mined (and I don't know how to spell it) is, Karen Kaye.

I'm not from Houston. I was thinking about the lady named Rosie who use to host the segment for little kids called Fox Kids' Clubhouse. She would wear a purple jumper. The Clubhouse segment would show educational shows like Rimba's Island and The Magic School Bus.
Yeah I'm pretty sure each station had different hosts for the clubhouse just like the news anchors. Indianapolis area had Ellen and she lived in my neighborhood!

Yes I know in Chicago they had Rich Koz who is also known as the Son of Svengoolie.
