What were your Favorite Little Golden Books that you remeber reading as a child? Does anyone still have theirs? I don't unfortunately. I bringing this up because I'm reading a book which is about the history of the Little Golden Books

Here are My 5 favorites:
1. The Monster at the End of the Book featuring Grover from Sesame Street
2. The Pokey Little Puppy
3. We Like Kindergarten
3. The Tawny Srawny Lion and the Saggy Baggy Elephant
4. The Shy Little Kitten
5. Scruffy the Tugboat

I know I had the Pokey Little Puppy and the Sailor Dog on tape. I loved those books so much.

I had heaps of Golden Books when I was young probably about 40 or 50 of them. Although I only have a few left as I gave most of them to one of my younger cousins.

My favourite book as a child was the Golden Book called Cars and Trucks. I also remember having an Oscar the Grouch one and The Forrest Hotel which was a counting one with rabbits in it and Mother Goose. I cant remember any more off the top of my head.

I still have about 80 or so of mine all kinds of titles. I even have a first print of pussywillow. I saved every thing from when I was a kid.
