when I try thinking about it, many times I find it hard remembering how I became friends with good friends, due to being so long of a time

Yeah. I remember finally making friends with one of my current best friends by running away from girls. We were 5 at the time, and at that age, running away from girls we didn't like was "fun". :P

My son's " friends " are all on line at this site or that....I remember being friends with classmates or neighbors....We shared the same Star Wars toys or Match Box cars.....today I remember those friends well and the times and memories we shared. I will say that I have had many " friends " that I have met on line in different forums, but not one has really stuck around for long...

That is the best I can do for my first post....I shall take the brunt of the " noob " jokes and " newbie " comments until I graduate to a higher class!!!!

I remember meeting most of them, but I don't think we were "friends" from the moment we met, and I can't remember when they made the switch from being an aquaitance to a friend. With the exception of a few friends I met in high school and college where we would be partying a little too hard and somebody would be like "Hey, you're drinking the same beer as me, we're friends now!!!!"

I wouldn't say I'm friends with Friends......I mean some of their shows were all right, but mainly it kinda had that "chick" feel to it. I'd say we're contemporaries at the most.

I remember when I met some of my friends, but not all of them. I met one (former) friend at church camp.

Another good friend, I met in middle school. We had some classes together, but I don't remember exactly what made us click. I think it might've been Star Wars.

I met my first boyfriend when I was on the academic team. Our team played against his. (I think they won.) After the match, we were all sitting around talking about-- guess what --Star Wars. Yep.

Yes, however in at least one case I had known the person for a while before we became friends.

With my friend Chris, he went to the same elementary school as I (he's a year younger). In my 5-6th grade years, another friend of mine, Katherine, would follow him around the playground and kinda pester him. Chris had this thing with gas, and he called himself "the God of Gas". This is why Katherine wanted to follow him around I guess, because Chris was kinda wierd.

In high school I would hang out with him on occassion since our groups kinda overlaped (well, I wasn't part of a group but I hung out with his 'group' once in a while). We've always known each other from the days of the playground but we didn't become friends until 5 years later.

I know some people who would say they were a child of the 60's even though they were born well a

everysingle one of them. the ones that are worth remembering anyway. Just makes me think of a maximo park song:

                The Coast is Always Changing.

I’ve met so many people who look the same,
Most were forgotten but you still remain,
Most of the time I don’t care,
But London’s so far away when you’re there,
And so it saddens me to say,
I’m only happy when I move away

I am young and I am lost,
                Every sentence has its cost,
I am young and I am lost,
                You react to my riposte

We look out upon the sea

We look out upon the sea,
                The coast is always changing,
I’ll bring my camera out to sea,
                The coast is always changing

Age makes no difference till you open your mouth,
Use your time just to work things out,
I know that you can’t understand,
When I tell you that this wasn’t planned,
And so it saddens me to say,
I’m only happy when I move away

I am young and I am lost,
                Every sentence has its cost,
I am young and I am lost,
                You react to my riposte

We look out upon the sea

We look out upon the sea,
                The coast is always changing,
We’ll take the train out to the sea,
                My heart is always changing

                It won’t before you’ve gone,
                I can’t imagine leaving,
                It won’t before you’ve gone,
                I can’t imagine leaving,
                It won’t before you’ve gone,
                I can’t imagine leaving,
                It won’t before you’ve gone,
                I can’t imagine leaving

We look out upon the sea

We look out upon the sea,
                The coast is always changing,
I’ll bring my camera out to sea,
                My heart is always changing,
We’ll take the train out to the sea,
                My pulse was always racing,
As we look out upon the sea,
                The coast is always changing

And though it saddens me to say,
I’m still waiting for that day
