When you were in elementary school and your mom would pack you lunch for school, what was your favorite combo? For me it was always a tuna fish sandwich, Ssips drink & shark fruit snacks. Ahh, those were the days!

I mostly had some type of sandwich with different side items (chips, drink and a snack), lunchables and I had this container where you could put hot lunch in it so sometimes it'd be some type of soup or chef boyarde stuff. It was always fun to see what you got for lunch until you were old enough to tell your mother what you wanted hehe.

Well, when my parents packed my lunch, I always had a sandwich, chips, and a drink. But when I got to school, the sandwich used to taste like shit because how long it was sitting out.

So my favorite bagged/packed lunch has to be chips and a drink. :P Hahaha.

LOL. I remember being in fourth/fifth grade and I would take sandwich's and would have this little ice box that you'd freeze in your freezer over night and it'll keep your stuff cool if they needed it.
            Those were cool.

I usually ate the school lunch. That was like Meatloaf, Mashed Potatoes, and Corn. Can't remember what my Parents packed.

I didn't like taking sandwiches, the bread always got soggy before lunch, and the cafeteria food was awful. When Lunchables came out I would take those, and if it was one of those that didn't have a drink with it I would take a Capri Sun.

Ugh, I hated lunchables. My parents used to pack the cheese and ham stackers. YUCK.

I didn't like the ham and cheese either, but it was better than the cafeteria food or a soggy breaded sandwhich. I forget which one it was I liked though, but I wound up with that ham and cheese more than once.

My cafeteria's food was good actually. And it was free. Until I got into High School.

I made my own sack lunches. I loved (still do) pb&j sandwiches. For some reason I have this thing with smashing them first before I can eat it.

Also, pudding cup, fritos and a kool-aid juice box.

For dessert I would have a (Little Debbie) Nutty bar.

In high school we had pretty good food. We had choices, there was a standard cafeteria line that was OK. Then there was a line that was more junk food. They had pizza, burritos from Taco Bell, stuff like that. Then we also had vending machines if you wanted to go that route.

bologna sandwhich, chips, carrot sticks, and a lemon lime Gatorade juice box. My mom would carve the bologna into a shape of whatever holiday it was. On all the other days, they were just happy faces

Eww. . . I remember when my school cafeteria featured those ham and cheese Lunchables one day, and five kids got food poisoning after eating them. It was disgusting.

I didn't really like Lunchables in general. They always seemed to include cola (something I have never liked), and having to tote along another drink seemed to defeat the purpose.

That being said, I remember a time when my favorite lunch revolved around what I called a "butter sandwich." In reality, it was a margarine sandwich. But I couldn't say the word "margarine" when I was little. Heh.

All I remember is those "pudding in a can" things. I would give my friend the pop-top with that crusty bit stuck to it...maybe scoop a little extra on top..oh, what a generous friend..

From Pre K- 4th grade, My dad would make lunches for me: He would pack Chunky Peanut Butter and Jelly, Carrot Sticks, Fig Newtons, then he would give me a milk ticket for white milk only (I wasn't allowed to drink chocolate milk) Fith grade onwards I made my own lunch instead of Fig newtons I packed Gummi Bears.

I didn't have a favorite lunch really. I liked turkey and mayo sandwiches cut into quarters when I was younger, then I guess PB&J. I usually had a chip or cracker, and some type of fruit product, whether it be the real thing or a fruit "snack". I didn't usually get desserts. I had juice boxes to drink but sometimes I got milk. My school's hot lunches were alright, I usually got the chicken nuggets each week, sometimes the pizza. I also liked their nachos and french toast sticks. For a couple years they had awesome pre-made salads too.

A friend of mine, no joke, had nothing but fruit snacks in her lunch from at least 4th grade to 6th grade. Her mom would pack it for so, so it'd be like fruit by the foot, a fruit roll-up, and a String Thing. Maybe some sort of "dessert" type food too. And she would drink milk, I guess her mom thought that was where she would get her nutrition.
