these have been around since like the 60s and i still see them occaisionally. i remember the mr t ones...i think i might have had some dinosaur ones and some spiderman ones too
I loved them! I believe I had Cabbage Patch Kid, and My Little Pony shrinky dinks! They were such an odd thing to pass the time!
you whoever came up with that was probably high at the time otherwise i dont know why you would cook colored plastic

edit- did you guys ever shrink empty chip bags in the oven? We used to do that and stick key rings through them.

I made the mistake of making my favorites into key chains. They always fell off or broke. Hmmp. I wish I had the Mr. T activity set!
The one set I remember was The Dukes of Hazard. There was one large one with the General Lee jumping off of a hill, and another one of Daisy Duke that, when shrunk, could be placed on the side of one's glass. :)
Shrinky Dinks! Forgot all about them till now. I remember having Hot Wheels Shrinky Dinks and using them as pull tabs on coat zippers.

We had the Smurfs, He-Man and Transformers ones. Those things were fun and they killed time.
