Well, i'm not that old...(22) but i started listening to 70s music since college started. I got tired of all that mainstream stuff on the radio. One band i especially liked was The Steve Miller Band. i'm sure you've heard of this song, "Fly Like an Eagle" one of my all time favs. well, they're coming out with a dvd and im so excited :P havent seen them live so this will do :p anyone else listen(ed) to them?

I never hear people talk about the Steve Miller Band's psychadelic stuff from the late 60's. Quicksilver Girl is a great song.

23 and I started listening to 80s and classic rock around '97 or '98. It got old and I began listening to pop in 2005, but now pop music is getting very cold and sterile.

I'm always looking for great new music and I do find good stuff frequently but I often finding myself going back to music from the 50's through the early 90's. So many of the big name artists have great stuff beyond their popular hits not enough people know about and then there's bands from those times that fell under the radar entirely.

yeah...alot of their great stuff is from that time. Sailor is probably my favorite album by them
