When did you all first get Nick at Nite?

This service was launched in July 1985 by Nickelodeon (a programming service of what was then Viacom Enterprises, who first owned Nick and MTV in 1983), which took over the slot formerly reserved for ARTS (Alpha Repertory TV Service, a joint venture of ABC (now Disney/ABC) and Hearst Entertainment), which had merged with NBC's (now NBC Universal) Entertainment Channel to become A&E (Arts & Entertainment Network; in which the three respective companies all still claim joint ownership of to this day).

Programs I remember watching on N@N through the years:
*The Odd Couple (1970-1975)
*Mork & Mindy (1978-1982)
*Happy Days (1974-1984)
*Laverne & Shirley (1976-1983)
*The Brady Bunch (1969-1974)
*The Partridge Family (1970-1974)
*Bewitched (1964-1972)
*I Dream of Jeannie (1965-1970)
*That Girl (1966-1971)
*The Dick Van Dyke Show (1961-1966)
*Get Smart (1965-1970)
*Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1955-1965)
*Dragnet '67 (1967-1970)

It was sometime in the early-mid ninties. That's how I got into the Brady Bunch.

I probably had Nick @ Nite for as long as I had Nickelodeon. I don't know how long it's been though.

You're right, I had A&E on after Nick from 1985 to 1991? that's when I was super happy!!
Back When I first got Cable I wanted to watch Dennis the Menace but switched to A&E and I was pissed. thank fully the decide to put DTM on regular Nick. I guess they were affected by the A&E dead slot.

Since I born, watched it as a baby ( obviously didn't know what the shows were about ) with my aunt who lived at us at the time, then my cousin, then I gradually started watching it as I got older.

We got cable when I was about...five, I think. That was in 1988, so that would be when we got Nick at Nite too.

Since I was born, I remember watching it with my grandmother every night. I loved every show that aired, especially the Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour. I recently bought most of the shows on DVDs so it brings back a lot of memories.

If your talking about the regular nick channels I rememered always having it. During the day they would show kids programming at night they showed Nick at Night for the grown ups. They first shows I remember in the 80s were "Mr Ed", "Donna Reid show", "Lassie", "Dennis the Menace" and "Leave it to Beaver ".

When my family and I were on vacation in the US in Q1 2003, Dad and bro watched Cheers on Nick at Nite on the TV in our hotel room.

First got Nick at Nite in '88. Watched the Monkees, Patti Duke, Car 54 and others....they used to show them twice throughout the night/early morning. I stayed up to watch both...lol

For as long as I can remember. It's weird, I remember Dennis The Menace and Flipper and Lassie being on during the day. I remember this being slightly before Welcome Freshmen was on. Around the same time "Fifteen"(Or Hillside or whatever) was on.

I really got into Nick at Night back in the early 90s. I LOVED it when they did Block party Summer. During that time I got a fridge magnet that had the block party summer schedule on it. I wish I still had it. I also got an I dream of Jeannie watch back then that had pink liquid in it.
                                        :)
