One of my favorite comic strips of Calvin and Hobbes. (Sorry for the small print for the users with bad eyesight)

Calvin and Hobbes is one of the most clever comic strips to date. No, I'd say the most clever. I read it since I was in second grade, and the more I read it, the more things start making sense to me. There's nothing better than reading something not only nostalgic, but with whole new meanings to it. Anyways, yeah, this one was one of the ones I've found hilarious since I first read it.

I love it. What I love the best about this strip is that Watterson made Calvin to be the adult doctor to couldn't careless about his patients.

He made a sequel to this one where Calvin and Susie are playing house and Calvin ends up taking his clothes off and pretending to be "Wonga-Taa, King of Jungle!"

Calvin and Hobbes was brilliant on almost every conceivable level. Funny as hell, yet at times quite philosophical and thought-provoking as well. Far above your average "funny strip."

I am the proud owner of the complete Calvin and Hobbes deluxe boxed set that came out a couple of years ago. :D That, and the Complete Far Side set too. Still working on Peanuts, though...

I love Calvin and Hobbes, but I didn't read it much as a kid.

I read some of Calvin and Hobbes as a child, but didn't read a lot of it as a child because I didn't understand some of the strips. Then a year ago I bought The Essential Calvin and Hobbes Treasury from a garage sale for a couple of bucks. I instantly became a fan. Then, just a week ago, I bought The Indispensable Calvin and Hobbes Treasury for a buck, and have been enjoying that book as well. These strips are certainly more classy and sophisticated than other strips are, and more fun to read than some of the arcane strips in the newspaper today.

Calvin & Hobbes was the best. It's funny that I used to read it all the time when I was little and found it funny. And when I read it now there's just so much that went over my head that's makes it even more hilarious. Now my nephew reads and enjoys them which always makes me glad.

I like "Calvin and Hobbes" too. I also have the theory, that Calvin might have Asperger's syndrom, like me.

I have most of the Calvin and Hobbes Books in my collections. It's always been my favorite. My favorite when Calvin called the police on Roslyn after she sent him and hobbes to bed and his parents got home.

i'd have to say that my favorite is actually a tie between this 1 and another that i can't find right now. it had something to do w/ calvin waking up late for school and needing to find clothes to wear. his clothes all started to attack him and when he came downstairs he was wearing a crazy outfit.i believe it was a full color sunday comic.

                                  replaced this 1 w/ a larger version

and of course how can i not include any and all of the snowman comics!

edit: sorry, this is turning out to be a huge post

ok i found the other strip, i actually had it on my hard drive...so here it is

also, i made a custom wallpaper of various calvin snowmen a few years ago at work, i like to set it on my PC during the winter. feel free to use them if you wish.

i got a request to make these smaller, so i switched to thumbnail links...unfortunately it looks like it's not opening them in a new window so maybe right-click on them and open in new tab/window if you want to see them full size.
this is the 1st 1 made, i like this 1 better

this is just the 1st 1 w/ more added to it. it just seemed too cramped, so i never used it

Calvin and Hobbes is one of the great comic strips of our time. I have pretty much all of the books, but it'll take awhile for Peanuts. Those are being released at like 2 volumes a year, with the last one due to release in...somewhere like 2016? I don't know.
