I remember this movie from when I was little, but I'm not sure of the correct name. It was a cartoon movie about Aladdin. It was made probably sometime in the 70s. There was a little man who kept following him everywhere, trying to get his magic lamp. He trapt Aladdin in a cave, which had a magical forrest, one tree had gems on it, one had fruit and one had gold I think or diamonds and then he finds the lamp and the genie gets him back to safety. There was also singing. Aladdin sang a song like this, "With my shiney piece of gold, I could buy a thousand things..." Anyone?

The only Aladdin movie I know is the one from Disney. I've never heard of one before that.

The tree thing rings a bell I'll have to search around and see if I can find the name though.

I have an Aladdin that isn't Disney. I have no idea what went on in it, only that the bad guy died because he stabbed himself with his own knife or something. I don't know if it's the same on or not though.

The story has a lot of the original elements of the story comparing it with the Disney version and was translated in several languages.

I had an Aladdin growing up as well that wasn't Disney. Is that the one where he wishes for a feast and he gorges himself on the food and I think his mother passes out when the genie appears? LOL. I just know that at the beginning there is arabian music or something playing. I know that he gets trapped in a cave after he helps the bad guy, thinking the bad guy is going to pull him up. The genie helps him get out I believe and I remember him wishing for a feast and when it appears his mother faints. I believe there was also a genie in a ring. Also there was a magic garden in the cave that's tree's had gem like fruit. They were jewells shaped like the fruit I think.

Here is the one I had!
The beginning few seconds are messed up, but this is it.
