After years of telling people about this movie only to have everyone tell me I was crazy, I finally got a computer last Xmas and discovered that the 1958 film
"The H-Man" has become a sought after cult classic!
What a movie! I saw it in 1965 on the old black and white Magnavox and I saw it Once!
I'll say it again - What a movie!
Its like
"The Blob" meets
"The Third Man". Its like a sci-fi, horror-film noir mash-up!
Atomic radiation creates "liquid men" who flow un-noticed through the Tokyo sewers. City police are baffled by unexplained murders. These liquid monsters haunt Tokyo's nightclub district attacking gangsters, mob men and "city women" in a movie that is difficult to describe.
To this day I can still see an "H-Man" flowing across the floor, pooling next to a table and filling the outline of a human sitting in a chair as it prepares to attack a gangster!
Ishiro Honda who directed "Godzilla" also made this movie and after all these years I can tell all of RJ that the special effects are Creepy!
Just too scared to get the dvd, lol!
