Greetings and sallutations fellow Retro Junkers......I mean...hey, what's up. Animasters here. For me, it's been a while since I've been regularly coming to this site. Now I'm back, after several months, and I'm so happy. I can't wait to to fully imerse myself in the fun here. I hope to write up my self info on my member's page soon. But since I can't wait to get back into the forums, here's my first ''have you seen this...'' post.
The movie may or may not have been shown in theatres. It might of been shown first on tv or straight to video. When I first saw it, it was on the Disney Channel in the early 90's. Back when they still showed disney/non-disney owned movies and specials. This one in particular, as much as I can recall, was about a baby dinosaur growing up in the city. This animated movie starred an anthropomorphic bear that was very rich. Along with all of his fortune he somehow aquires an egg that hatches into a baby dinosaur. The adopting parent takes care of the green dino as it grows over time and eventually wanders into the city (a fairly common carton cliche'). The other main character is possibly a white anthro. female cat. A neighbor who constantly sees the antics of the bear and appears to have the more common sense of the two. To the ponit of helping to find the runaway dino (not disimular from Inspector Gadget's Penny). It seemed like a neat movie that I remember because the bear looked a lot like Barney Bear from the old MGM cartoons. While the white cat looked a tiny bit like Felix the Cat but opposite in color/gender.
Well, that's my movie. For those who've seen it please let me know of specific info on it like a title or such. The info I've given may or may not be correct so I'm sorry if i marred any memories out there. But in any case, thanks for reading and hopefully my next post won't be so wordy. Here's looking forward to more Retro Junkin' in the future.
