Does anybody remember this show? If so, what are/were some of your favourite episodes?
YES!! This is one of my favorite sitcoms of all time! As for favorite episodes--shit, there're so many...one that always sticks with me is the episode when Steve clones himself and causes confusion in the Winslow house. At the episode's conclusion Steve and Stefan finally meet face to face. Definitely a classic. Also, the two episodes involving Steve's evil puppet are pretty hilarious. This is another show that NEEDS to be released on DVD (right up there with the remaining four seasons of Boy Meets World)!

Yes one of many great Miller/Boyett shows. It was a spinoff of Perfect Strangers.
It is one of the best shows ever. One of my favorite episodes is the one where Waldo dates Laura.

Family Matters is great. I havent seen it in a long time, I know it comes on Nick at Nite. I like almost any episode.

I was stupid and silly but that's what made it good, how perposterous it was. Erkel and Carl Winslow were a great comedy duo and I loved when that really good looking girl fell for Erkel and was into all the same stuff he was.
When Laura kissed Stefan at her party, and they were playing the song "Cool in you" by Babyface...my fav clip,..still have it recorded.
It was pretty good until it became the Steve Erkel show. It started revolving around him too much. He became the center piece and not the family it was made for to begin with.

QFT. I feel exactly the same way about the show.
I do rember that show, my favorite episodes are when steve rescues carl from that lake when they go ice fishing and when steve teaches that kid how to read. That was truely a touching show :cry:

I loved watching Family Matters, and still do. (it still gives me a good laugh after all these years). It got pretty goofy though when the episodes started revolving around Urkel's inventions. I can't believe this show isn't on DVD. They released the complete series of Full House, but not a single episode of Family Matters. What's the deal with that? Family Matters was way better.
Of Course!! Boy Meets World, Family Matters, and Dinosaurs were my life on Friday nights in the 90's. TGIF!! I used to love the Fall Saturday Morning previews too. It seemed like they always used to come on the Friday before my family's big picnic/reunion. Then, I would spend the whole Saturday afternoon talking about what I saw the night before with my cousins (who usually watched it too).

My favorite episode would probably be the (2 part) Disney World episodes though, where the Winslows travel with Steve for the science/inventors competition and Stefan proposes to Laura as "Prince Charming." lol (It's SO funny if you watch that scene and listen carefully, you can hear people in the crowd in the Magic Kingdom yelling "Kellie" and "Jaleel" but when that scene is shown as a flashback in a later season, the crowd audio was taken out or at least the volume was lowered a little bit. It made me wonder why that couldn't have been done the first time around before the episode originally aired, lol).
Okay, okay...continuing with the Stefan episodes, I also enjoyed the episode where Stefan surprises Laura with a serenade from Freddie Jackson, who sang "You Are My Lady." The rendition sang on the show was, in my opinion, even better than the original recording of the song.
Waldo and Carl were probably 2 of my favorite characters on the show.

I liked Family Matters when I was a kid, but I find it incredibly cheesy now. It was one of the highest rated shows in the 1990s and it was basically Cosby's replacement.
