Iam 30 years old now .. I was a teenage in 1993.. But I was a shy boy back then and can't remember much what teenagers did..if your around 30-35 years old where did teenager hang out? What did teenagers do for fun? I miss out alot .. I relive my early teens years by watching old movies and cartoons and etc now cause iam older and have time now.
I used to play arcade games at the 7-11 about a mile or so from my house. Not having any friends back then (and still don't), I would hang out by myself all the time. But I loved that arcade machine, Quiz & Dragons. When I discovered you could play arcade games on your computer, Q&D was the first game I downloaded.
The skating rink, the mall, and McDonalds were places teens hung out during the 90's.

In my hometown kids would usually go to the skating rink or hang out in the Foodland parking lot. Not much has changed over the years. Well now the Foodland parking lot is now the Save-A-Lot parking lot. lol
I know how you feel, but it was this way for me more in my early teen years. I didn't like most of the people my age in my neighborhood so I stayed inside most of the time. Once I made some friends and got a motorcycle I started hanging out with people my own age after school. I spent a lot of time at the arcade, the pool halls, go-cart track and over at friends houses. When I started working after school I couldn't do it as much though.
The teenagers around here always hung out in the Wal-Mart parking lot. As a matter of fact, I am fairly certain they still do that now. It's extremely sad.
Going by my sister who was a teen at the time,the mall, 6 Flags (for Halloween and Summer)and the most popular being my house.

My friends and I would rent movies and I'd usually hang out at a friend's house.

7-11 is the only place i recall them being at the most often

we had the car wash around here... or cruising around the k-mart shoppin center parking lot.a few years later it all moved to the walmart parking lot hehe
The main places I hung out at as a teen was the arcade at the mall, the Disney Store when it still had classic Disney stuff (which is closed now, and was turned into a men's clothing store), and went to the movies a lot. Nothing else really comes to mind.If it's a place like here, Wal-Mart is pretty much the only place open. Things close up early around here, which is why I honestly didn't hang out too much as a teen. I also didn't have a license to drive.
