2. Ghost World
These two movies sum up the way I look at the world more than any others. The sense of being totally disenchanted with mainstream societal conventions ("Give most people a Big Mac and a pair of Nikes and they're happy!"), and the examination of day-to-day, mundane life, both movies portray, really hits home with me. Enid and Seymour in Ghost World, and Harvey and Joyce in American Splendor, are more or less, myself.
