I have yet to see these movies without being under the influence of abusive substances. I imagine they're all pretty damn cool, though perhaps a bit long-winded. I think I read the books back in high school.

My God! I love the Lord of the Rings Movies! I love the creatures and effects and music and sound in these films! This is the ultimate kickbutt fantasy movie series of the 21st Century!!!

Haha! Yea, awesome movie! I have the extended editions for all three and they're close to about 4 hours or so each! Some hardcore LOTR right there!

i had them.. sold them on ebay.. too long.. puts me to sleep.. i prefer the theatrical versions.
I liked the extended editions better. They all had some awesome scenes put back in. Yeah, they are long, but they still kick ass.
I like the part where Gandolf was whispering magic spells to the moth.

Love all 3 films. The first is still my favorite. Think I may go watch those now.
