I finally saw this the other day. What did you all think of it. I thought it was OK.
Was alright. Seemed kinda short.
i thought it was good. I really enjoyed how they set it up. Although it kilsl me not to know the origin of "Clover", i really liked how it adds to the mystery of just where did this thing come from. Maybe i would have made a few chracter design changes to Clover, i think he was an awesome monster, and really enjoyed the parasites he dropped. I think that the movie was seted up well, and hopefully will see a sequel, what I'm thinking is its obivious that the government got a hold of the video, I think maybe we can start off in a briefing where their discussing the problem and take it from there.
I really liked it. I love the filming style and I liked how they made it so a sequel could be made.
I thought it was totally sweet except for the crappy characters I didn't really care about. The Host was another monster movie I thought was wet. As in wet down gorgeous.
Cloverfield was pretty disappointing to me. It was like the Blair Witch with some better special effects. The camera angles were infuriating and the characters were all morons, i wanted them all to die.

I enjoyed it.
I liked it, I hated the little party thing in the beginning, sooo 00's and boring....but it was good, great use of CGI, and like JK Yoda said, was kinda short, but it'll be cool to see a sequel.

I think it would have been a lot better if it wasn't for the "gimmick." Throughout the whole thing, I kept saying, "Dude, would you put down that fucking camera already?"

I really liked this movie - I saw it a couple weeks back and ended up buying it. The party at the start made me think, "Ooh, man, I can't wait till these yuppy fucks start getting stomped!" But by the time Hud got killed I actually felt a bit, "Awww. Not Hud..."
A lot of people have said to me that they didn't like the ending but I thought it was pretty interesting that we never found out what the monster really was or where it came from. (Unless you want to be a nerd and search the Cloverfield website...)

i dont understand why people hate this movie, i really liked it when i saw it, it's a pretty original concept to have the whole movie shot through a handheld camera
I thought Cloverfield was awesome. I actually felt bad for Hud when he died, Hud was really funny.
Favourite part was when they tried to cross over to Beth's place.....plus the helicopter scene.
