I was briefly interested when I first heard of it, but after seeing some trailers & reading a synop, it looks like an extremely boring waste of time, with an overused plot.

i don't know, my take on it, is that it has a blues brothers plot, which to me is a little refreshing,
all of the muppets now have their own gig and their fans have to get them back together to save the muppets studio, I even that animal is going to be an anger management therapist, that will be hilarious

also the parody trailers remind me for some reason of looney tunes space jam and back in action, uhf and hot shots, which are basically are parody movies. But I am a big fan of them

and also, I have been hearing alot of good reviews, I have not heard any if many bad reviews on the movie yet

but that is my current take on it, i this point.....

I hope at best when I go to see it on wednesday that I will at least get a good laugh or two

Parts of it seem to be taken straight from the muppets take manhattan, the part about getting the muppets together is ripped straight from the great muppet caper, and the whole "omg, the muppet theater is going into foreclosure, we need to get some money!" routine has been done to death (it's a very merry muppet xmas" for example). It's like they tossed the plots of previous muppet movies into a blender & recorded what came out.

I hope it's years worth waiting.

i see your point, i hope it at least keeps the some of the quality of the other films

I kinda think they're annoying.

just saw the movie last night, it was'nt that bad,

it was'nt what I was expecting but it was not disappointed,

couple small problems... musical numbers were kinda weird

and really the only cameo appearance was jack black and sheldon from big bang theory with some fairly quick appearances by other actors

however, very good movie!! favorite parts were the 80's robot, gonzo being a toliet tycoon and being able to see the Muppet show on the big screen, it was an honor
