Which character from Malcolm in the Middle do you think should have his own show. I'm going for Stevie's family.
I haven't seen it in a while. Is Steve the black kid w/ astma?

Most spin-offs suck, so I can't vote for any of them. Malcolm in the Middle has perfect chemistry for a great show....I can't picture taking it apart and expecting a small piece to do well. That's what's great about it....it's constantly shifting back and forth between each family member, no matter what they're doing. If they were to break it up, it would suck just as bad as 'Joey'.
Yeah, Stevie is the black kid with asthma in the wheelchair.
He's got a messed up family, but my vote went to Francis. He moves around so much, he's done so many things, its like there's already an entirely seperate backstory going on where we can't see it with him, and we're only getting glimpses. Would also allow guest stars from Malcom in the Middle to come on when needed, and still have a good excuse as to why they're not just down the street all the time and never there (like it would be for Stevie).Eh, I liked Daria and King of the Hill, which are both Beavis and Butthead spinoffs.

Well.....that's a damn good point....but Mike Judge somehow IMPROVED on what he had going. I think it's different when you're talking about animation versus live-action. I mean, look at shows like 'That 80's show', any of the Star Trek shows (after TNG), any of the Stargate spinoffs....yeah, those suck.

The only good spin-offs ever came from All in the Family, which at the same time bascially inspired all the outgoing and risk taking shows we have today.
Francis would be a good spin-off if he goes back to being a trouble maker.
