Does anyone seen this new commercial for Nabisco snacks that includes holiday recipes on the back of Ritz, Triscuit and Wheat Thins? I've seen this commercial with Rachel doing rehearsals on recipes that she couldn't find any of the snacks. As you may know at the end of the commercial, the announcer was saying "Look for more of Rachel's recipes on the Nabisco holiday boxes!". Well, if you love the old Nabisco TV ads since the 80's and 90's, near the end of the commercial, the Nabisco logo appeared on the top left of the screen as you hear the "Ding" sound instead of saying "Nabisco!" in unison. What's the big deal?

I remember at the end of every TV commercial, the words "Nabisco" came in unison and then the "Ding!" sound was heard. That one was from the 80's. I heard the "Ding!" sound in every Nabisco ad was making a comeback. What it is look like? it looks like it was 1984 and I haven't heard that Nabisco "Ding" sound effect for over 25 years. At the time it was called "Nabisco Brands Inc." and today it is made by the Kraft divison. Has anybody seen that new commercial for Nabisco with Rachel doing the recipes?

Wow! I didn't know there was a commercial for Nabisco with Rachael Ray. I hope one day soon I will come across it. Funny thing is I am currently snacking on Ritz crackers, and Rachael Ray is on the box.

    Rachael Ray is the bomb!!!

Rachael Ray is one of the most irritating and annoying personalities on television. My wife enjoys watching her $40 a Day" program and being that last night's was from NYC, I tried to give it a chance. I just shook my head for a constant 60 minutes.

No, I haven't seen the commercial yet. But I did watch her "$40 A Day" New York hour extravaganza last night. It was fun watching her ice-skating in Central Park, go bowling, and shopping in that indoor world trade shopping center.

I'm a huge fan of Rachael Ray and I think shes doing a wonderful job with what she does. Rachael has built a successful empire. Whats interesting is that women adore her and men think shes annoying and loud. Shes clever and smart and many people look past that. They only pay attention to her annoying laugh, smile, constant talking. I'll admit, her laughs, smiles, and constant talking aren't out of this world but what attracts me to her is her relatable tips, recipies, etc. Personality-wise, shes pretty much a breath of fresh air. I'd like to see someone different other than the glamour and bullshit we see on tv today.I cook myself and shes a huge influence in my culinary life.

I agree with you. All the guys I know "hate" Rachael Ray. I feel they are intimidated by her because of her success. I say more power to her.

These same guys are not only intimidated by Rachael Ray, but I bet they are just jealous because they wish they had a wife that has an upbeat personality and knows how to cook.

I find Rachael Ray entertaining and I respect her for her accomplishments. To me, Rachael Ray is the ideal woman. She is a role model to all females worldwide. Women can be successful in business just like men. Rachael Ray can one day become the "Queen of all media" (waiting for a feature film).

In closing, I just want to say that I hope one day I find a woman that has Rachael Ray's attributes. Thank you!

When watching any Food Network host, there needs to be a suitable amount of talking/having fun with a comparable amount of honest to goodness cooking. his seems to be quite the opposite with her 30 minute meals program. Ray doesn't do anything overly significant that would make me watch her over somone else. I find the charm, humor and culinary skills of Emerril and Paula Deen and perhaps Alton Brown to be levels about Rachael.

the difference between those chefs and Rachael is that they're more professional than her. Supposedly, she doesn't call herself a "chef" because she didnt have the same training as her competition. People actually take her over Paula Deen and Molto Mario because she has the likeable/ "best friend" factor.

Apparently we have watched different programs featuring these three people because they all have their moments of humor and laughter and do not present an overly professional impression. They offer a refreshing mix.

Maybe some men are jealous that their wives aren't as "upbeat" and able to cook as her. There lies a vast difference between having an outgoing and friendly personality as compared to being a person who never shuts up and babbles about everything and anything. I call it like I see it and while certain things she cooks look appealing, many more does not.
