It seems horror fans only care about horror movies from the 70s-90s. I think that sucks. 20s-60s horror movies had better acting,writing,plots,and no gore. Most horror movies from the 70s-90s had bad acting, bad writing, bad plots, and WAY too much gore. Horror was much better when it cared more about the characters,storyline, and suspense rather than over-the-top unneeded gore. I mean if horror fans like those kinds of horror movies then that's fine. I just wish the really old horror movies got some love and recognition.

I somewhat agree. I don't think they are better than 80s horror films but I do think they had more class and are very underrated. Although I'm not a big fan of the 20s and 30s horror films. like silent films. I think I only go as far back as the 50s.
