They DID make a live action Spawn movie, starring Michael Jai White, Martin Sheen and Jon Leguizamo. I have it on DVD. It's not as good as it used to be, dammit.:(

The series got cancelled on HBO, so they stopped production. They are going to bring it back, hopefully where they left off, at Spawn 3.

No, not yet. They only say it will return sometime in 2007.
I hope that they bring back Oz also.
