I think everyone has at least one type of ride that makes them uncomfortable. Others get damn right panicy.

Now I love rollercoasters, water rides, and so on, but there are certain rides that make me uncomfortably anxious.

Those rides would be any ride with large animatronics, like the Jurassic Park ride for instance. I have a strange phobia with rides that you have no control over and cant get out of put you next to a screaming thrashing dinosaur. Having them jump out of the water or dropping from the roof makes it even worse. This is because I had a bad experience at the Adventure dome here in my hometown, there was a 40 to 50 foot t-rex (I might be incorrectm I saw the thing when I was little so it probably seemed bigger) that was surrounded by other dinosaurs and it of course roared and thrashed around. There was a platform near or above its head where people can stand and look at it move and such. My dad, for some reason, thought itd be a good idea to pick me up (which I never liked as a kid) and hold me over the rail next to the damn thing. That has traumatized me for life and every time a rollercoaster or water goes into a dark cave I always get nervous that something is going to pop up. I know it wont hurt me but my body and mind chooses to freak out.

Giant Drop at Six Flags. It's funny, I can go on Raging Bull, which is taller, but I can't go on Giant Drop.

The Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier. I have no problems with other ones, just this one. I think it's because it's close to water and I always had a fear of being high up by big bodies of water.

At Playland in Vancouver B.C. Canada they had this one ride called The Wild mouse..not as gay as it sounds let me tell you, you were in this tiny box much like a cardboard box with a lil cusion and a lil seatbelt which didn't do much, the tracks were really high, as high as a building..lol and there were sharp corners and steep hills, the box itself would tip like alot..the track was really narrow as well, i honestly don't think it was suppose to be tipping as much as it did..i actually thought i was gonna fall out and that scared the shit out of me because of how high it was, you'd pretty much die if you did. Heres a Picture, it actually looks a lil more retarted then i remember.

Oh, man, good ones. I've never gotten on the Giant Drop because A) Every time I go there it always seems to be having problems, which isn't really comforting, and B) It's so HIGH!

I've been on the ferris wheel at Navy Pier. Admittedly, it's pretty high up, but to me it moves so slowly that it's not as big a deal.

The high roller. It's like a roller coaster and it goes in a circle and it's enclosed and it flips around while it is on the track. And the zipper I won't ride that thing.

The one where they strap you and a friend on a chair or a cage attached to two bungee cords and slings you forward like a slingshot, I haven't tried it but just looking at it makes me twitchy, but I will try it one of these days.

There's a coaster at the Six Flags up here called Flash Back, which zips you through loops and overturns and stuff, then does it again, but backwards. Sorry, but if I'm going upside down, I'd like to see where I'm going.

I hate ferris wheels too, especially when you've got the jerk down at the bottom who pulls the brake hard enough to make you swing. And you're at the top of the dumb thing.
These aren't my rules. Come to think of it, I don't have any rules.

At the 2003 Dixie Classic Fair, I rode a ride called "The Zipper". Basically, it's what I like to call an "Evil Ferris Wheel". That thing makes you feel like you're in a car that's flipping over. I'll never ride that again. I've attached a picture of it.

I don't remember what the name of the ride is, but it was like a ferris wheel, it's only smaller and it just starts off horizontally, and it was slow. But after a while, it starts to go diagonally and fast, and after another while, it goes vertically and it goes super super fast. I was freaked out by that ride, my Yankees hat went flying, I even thought that I was going to go flying and crashing to the ground. I held on the thing so tight that on the end of the ride, my hand hurted, and I was a little dizzy.

Roller Coasters are my thing, the faster, the bigger...the better. Anyway, I CANNOT be in any Haunted House! I don't like things that pop out at me in the dark!

I love roller coasters. Millinium Force is teh awesomeness.

I hate all spiny rides though. I can take roller coasters with no problem, but rides that spin atall give me the worst headach. I remember one year I went to the Canfield Fair with my family, and other relatives. I rode this ride that would go in circles. It would start of slow and gradually get faster and faster.

I felt absolutely horrible when I got of. We were there for a few more hours to. Everyone was getting french fries anf these things called Elephant Ears(some pastryish thing). To this day the mention of those horried pastry things make me feel ill.

I heard when you go on those freefall rides, if you hold your hand out with a penny on your palm and you fall, if your brave enough to look you can see the penny floating just above your palm while your falling, always wanted to know if that's true.
