This is one of the best sites I've found to download YouTube videos:

All you have to do is paste in the video link and wait for it to convert the video for downloading. It's important though that you don't close out of the video on YouTube while it's converting.

if you want a really simple way go to evoh.com signup download the player and you get a pluging in your toolbar once you have that up just click the plugin and it will start downloading to the player
