Anyone else going? I'm not really a trekkie (trekker for those who prefer a better label) but I do enjoy the show. I've been going through Voyager season by season and can't get enough of it.

I'm heading over on saturday, July 21st. My dad wants to see Richard Picardo (hologram doctor on Voyager) and get his autograph. I'm really more content in browsing the dealer room.

And just to make you trekkies jealous, our family is having breakfast with George Takei. He just happens to be a family friend :)

Well, I wish I could go, but unfortuantely, I have to work that day. I've watched Star Trek since I was like 5 with the original series and the Animated Filmation cartoon that was made back in 1973 and I continue to watch the series to this day.

I guess you can call me a trekkie.

Well it is a weekend-long event. Friday through Sunday. Shatner and Nemoy are going to be there together on sunday, which is why the admission fee is much higher.

I was supposed to be working that weekend but I managed to get out for Saturday at least.

This post makes me smile a little. I worked at Star Trek: The Experience in Las Vegas, and had to work two conventions. One in 2005 and the other in 2006.

I wish they had more cons down here like they used to..
Especially since I am in the 501st now and have all those costumes to wear.
