Just to through this out there for those who are listening. What are your thoughts on the future? What's your outlook? Bright? Bleak?
I know given my current age, I'm in the final stages of actually becoming a responsibile adult. So my future outlook is somewhat positive. What is your outlook?

My outlook on the future is somewhat optimistic. I will soon start a new school year and it will soon be the holiday season. My favorite time of the year.
But talking about the Future...I hope that it will soon improve. We are on the edge of greatness. We are on the edge of getting our troops home. We are on the edge of electing a new president. We are on the edge of Change. But what kind of change will it be? The threat of danger will not subside, but our mind frame must be what changes.
I look toward a future of optimism. I think a new president will be able to usher in this change. Join me in voting Barack Obama for President.

If the Mayans and other prophets are correct, there isn't going to be a future after 2012.
I'll hold most of my thoughts about the future back (They could get me banned due to the restrictions on political and religious discussion), so I'll talk about my future on the personal front.
From bidding on stuff on eBay to going to karaoke to going to Walt Disney World to flirting with the idea of going to London for their Olympic ceremony, my future is looking pretty good.

Did the Mayans actually predict the end of the world, or does their calendar simply not go beyond 2012?
Overall, I would say things are improving. Kids seem to be learning more stuff at an earlier age, technology as a whole is improving, more and more cures and treatments for diseases are coming out. So long as the economy doesn't collapse and pull the rug out from under us, things can only improve.

Oh, and that's the day TV Execs decide to pull the Power Rangers off the air once and for all, kickstarting the above disasters...

Actually all those things would be triggered by a polar switch, that is the north pole becomes the south pole and visa versa. It's happened in the earth's history many times before and it's way over due for another one.

EXACTLY!!! And it's all gonna happen on that day you mentioned!
Bright on my opinion, guys, nothing bads going to happen before 2013 hopefully, but those things are incorrect.
Just 25 days to go untill the beginning of the end....
