So last night i got up to go to the bathroom, tripped over something and hit the corner of the trunk at the foot of the bed. I woke up this morning with a forming black eye.

So i was wondering, does anyone else have any fun "black eye" stories to tell? or am i the only clumsy person here?

Years ago I was sitting on the floor doing something and my alarm clock fell off the dresser and gave me a black eye!

Lol, the one and only time I got a black eye was when I was 7. I was going through my mom's old pumps from the 80s and I found a nice navy blue pair. I threw some pearls on, an old dress, and the pumps, and decided to show my parents. They were in the then basement/rec room, so I had to go downstairs to show them. Well, I tripped over my own feet halfway down and landed flat on my face. I started crying, and my eye started turning black and blue... They heard the hullabaloo and came running, lol.

Years ago my father slammed me in the face with a tennis raquet because "I was hitting like a fucking pussy". Boy did I have a story to tell Child Protective Services! LOL

I got punched in the eye (my right one) by some random kid back in the 9th grade. He was angry that I didn't tell him the answers to the test so I ended up getting a black eye and he ended up being suspended.

Once, I got hit in the corner of my eye with a pencil. It wasn't a full blown black eye, but it did spread over the bottom half of my eye.

Another time is when I tripped over my pantlegs (They were a bit too long...) and slammed my eye onto the coffee table.

Then there was the time I think I broke my nose. I ran into a screen door and both my eyes turned black and my nose was bleeding. Don't really know much more though, it happened when I was REALLY young...
