What's some stories you have about your time in a movie theater. Whether they're funny, gross, annoying or just plain weird. Here's a couple of mine:

When I went to go see the Transformers movie the first time, I ended you sitting next to a guy and his kid, who was too young to have been there in the first place. All the kid did through the whole movie was kick his feet and move his arms like he was driving a car with his eyes closed. When he did open his eyes, he'd go completely still and stare at the screen wide eyed, then go back to doing the driving/kicking thing a few seconds later. I turned to my mom and whispered "Do you really think the kid next to me understands what's going on?" She leaned over, looked, and said "No, not at all."

Another time is when I went to go see Harry Potter (I think it was the second one, I don't remember) and there was a group of teenage boys (no older that 15 I believe) behind us. They kept making funny comments and snarky cracks throughout the whole movie. My mom and I were trying not to laugh out loud. Then, one of the boys burped really loud and you hear a lady go "Oh that's nice."

Then at the end of the movie, one of the boys said "I wish Hermione took off her shirt, she's hot." and my Mom, who decided to goof around back, said "She like twelve though, that's gross." and the boy was all like "Well, she's still hot." I was just standing there laughing as the continued back and forth for a few minuets until we had to leave.

    Heh, I think one time when I went to a movie with my family, we were the ones who were being a bit disruptive.

    Well, when I went to see Spiderman 3 with my brother, my two cousins and my cousins wife there was a part (spoiler alert!) on the bridge where Peter confesses that he loved Mary Jane and started crying. (spoiler end) My brother than started busted up laughing because he thought it was the corniest moment, (I thought it was sad myself actually) but when my brother started laughing, everyone else family wise did too. You know when someone starts laughing even though you don't think it's funny it catches on, I thought it was irritating but I caught the laughing bug too and even 20 minutes past that moment we kept laughing, holding it in back while the laughs went back and forth. When we stopped someone would hold it in giggling and start laughing and we'd all have to hold it in and...........you get the picture.

      I hate annoying people like that who talk during movies.

      I also hate when people clap during movies. That's a pet peeve of mine. These people are applauding what? The actors? It's not like they can hear them.

      One funny story is when my friends and I went to see Spider-Man 3, there was a guy who was sitting next to my friend Matt that would not shut up about what was going on, and telling him his life story.

        In the year 1992, me, my brother and my friends went to see Aladdin. Some guys started throwing popcorn at us, and then me and my friends started throwing candy, then everyone starts running around acting like idiots and throwing stuff. Two guys got in a really bad fight after that and then we all got kicked out of the theatre and didn't get our money back.

          ~~~SPOILERS WARNING~~~
          The same thing happened with me and my friends on that part! One person started dying laughing on that part because of the well, let's just say melodrama overload... and the next thing you know, the whole theatre started cracking up! The same goes for the whole Tony Monero thing, too. :rolleyes:
              I have a moment similar to that one...YEARS ago, we tried to get all the women in my family together to see First Wives Club, and I fell asleep after about 10 minutes and had to be woken when it was time to leave.
              When 13 Ghosts first came out, my boyfriend and I won tickets to the premier. I ended up getting sick and leaving, but told him to say. He fell asleep and snored so loudly that he got kicked out of the theater!
                Just last night, I went to the Simpsons Movie....as it was starting, I had three teenage girls sit down behind myself and my best friend....and so it began. Throughout the movie, there were constant comments such as, "Homer, you're such an idiot!" and "Man, this is stupid." I basically wanted to turn around and tell them to leave if they thought it was stupid (I'm sure I would have used other words....), with the theater exploding with laughter and praise towards me. I hate those kind of casual fans that don't understand anything about the show. I've been waiting 18 years for this (yes...since season one, I was there), and I didn't want it to be ruined by some lame teenage girls who don't "get" the show.
