I have a pound kitten
yeah, the kittens were for girls and the dogs were for boys
But I got this as a gift for christmas as a kid and I have become attached to it.
Plus it is a boy cat too.

E.T., Teddy Ruxpin, Popples, and My Pet Monster these were my favorites. Oh I almost forgot the Wuzzles.
I never got into stuff'd animal toys. I guess the coolest one was My Pet Monster. I just couldn't see lugging anything that big around with me. I needed something that I could fit into my pocket.
I was quite fond of a doll called Dozy. It's a boy in blue pajamas.
Next to Teddy Ruxpin and the Stay Puffed Marshmallow Man, I almost always had this cotton blue stuffed bear which really ended up damaged quite a bit. It's gone now but I can remember the 100 or so times I watched the Care Bears Movie or The Land Before Time with it. Mom said I even took him to the grocery store.
Geez, I had a dozen of favorites. Teddy Ruxpin held the number one spot for a long time though. I also had a Care Bear that I liked. I guess this doesn't count, but when I was really little, I had a rag doll that I loved to death, even though she had some gum stuck on her face.

my fave though was probably my series 1 sonic and tails plush dolls
I loved my Popple, my Monchichi (may he rest in pieces, thanks to the family dog...), and Montgomery Monkey (the talking ventriliquist monkey, anyone else have him?)
Popples! Those were the ones you could make into a little ball right? Those were great for kicking around the house.

I wasn't that into stuffed animals as a kid but I adored my Dressy Bessy doll. She was a soft stuffed doll that had buttons and zippers and real lace-up shoes to help teach kids how to button buttons and tie their shoes. I also had a Mrs. Beasley doll and I remember being quite fond of her. After that it seems like I got more into "boy" toys like Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots, G.I. Joe and I loved the Lone Ranger action figures, especially the posable horses. Dressy Bessy is still around but mine looked like this:

I had a hand-made pillow with ducks on the pillowcase that I always loved. And a classic white teddy bear. After that I went through phases- racoon hand puppet, white tiger, mini mouse, etc.
My sister and I got alot of homemade dolls and stuffed animals. I remember my sister complaining that her homemade cabbage patch kid looked like it had down syndrome. We had homemade carebears, raggedyann and andy, stawberry shortcake dolls too.
I ended up getting a real Cabbage Patch doll post craze. I was kinda over it by then.

I had a Sonic the Hedgehog stuffed animal. I also had a bunch of other nameless stuffed animals, like these two dogs with the RCA logo on their collars. And Beanie Babies... those were hot stuff back in the mid-late '90s...
Man I had a stuffed something or other from disneys Capt.Nemo it was some kinda orange thing with a long tail, i got it from diseyland in the early 80's
A stuffed Fival (not sure I spelled that right) from An American Tail, Care Bears, Bumble Lion, Cabbage Patch Doll, Kid Sister(I know they are not technically stuffed) Teddy Ruxpin, stuffed ET, Oliver from Oliver and Company, Maid Marion Fox from when the Disney Store first opened I beleive, Bumble Lion and a stuffed Ewok come to mind.

My favorite stuffed animals from when I was little was a medium sized Sonic The Hedgehog, four different colored Yoshis, and a huge collection of Beanie Babies. My dog ate the eyes off my red Yoshi one time and I had to get a new one and I don't have my Sonic The Hedgehog doll anymore.
Lets see, my garfeild stuffed animal and my kermit stuffed animal were just about my favorate stuffed animals of all time as a child.
My favorite ones are the Wuzzle that was part elephant and part kangaroo, my Gizmo plush from Gremlins, my small Pound Puppy, my yellow Popple plush, and my green T Rex plush I used to carry around with me a lot.
I also used to have a small plush Snoopy doll, wearing blue jeans and a red long sleeved shirt. I wonder if I can find another one like that somewhere.
I had to large cloth rag dolls (which were my favorites), one was named Polly with blond pigtails, a red checked dress and cloth pockets. That one came apart after being played with frequently and had to be thrown away. :(
The other had short, purple yarn hair, large black eyes, a light purple gown and matching bonnet. My stupid mother decided to leave her in the wash room for some other kid to have when we had to move. I was 16 and she didn't bother asking me first. I never forgave her for that. :cry: I will if I can ever find one like her again.
