I remember seeing something about this on TV but they didn't show the trailer. They were just talking about it. But it looks pretty good and I love all of Tim Burtons movies, he does a really good job.

Looks like it would be a good movie that would keep truer to the source material compared to the animated version.

Hey everybody, I'd like to add a link here.

I'm from that generation of kids that saw the Paramount Pictures movie "Alice in Wonderland" from 1933. If you have never seen it check out the uploads on youtube. It's one of the freakiest movies I've ever seen. Yet for Paramount this was a mega-movie with an all-star cast. Edward Everett Horton as the Mad Hatter. Cary Grant as the Mock Turtle. W.C. Fields as Humpty Dumpty. Gary Cooper as the White Knight.

Here's a clip starring Charlotte Henry as Alice where she meets Tweedle Dee & Tweedle Dum. This is the scene I remember because it has "The Walrus and The Carpenter" cartoon, which was animated by Max Fleischer's studio. The scene opens with "The Gryphon and the Mock Turtle" sharing stories and songs with Alice. The cartoon starts 4.5 minutes into this 9 minute clip:

I hope it's creepier than the trailer suggests.
