3-2-1 Contact was an american science educational television show which aired on PBS from 1979 to 1992.

The series teaches kids and teens about scientific principles and their applications.

But not only that there was a segment called The Bloodhound Gang which tells the adventures of 3 young but fearless mystery solvers that worked at the Bloodhound Detective Agency who can solve the clues and capture the crooks by using the knowledge of science.

The 3-2-1 Contact got it's name from the words used to countdown for either a rocketship launch or a space shuttle launch.

The Children's Television Workshop now Sesame Workshop created this series to separate their 2 early successful shows for the little kids and babies Sesame Street and The Electric Company, and make it more for the older kids and younger teens.
