BrainSurge
Debut: January 01, 2009
Ended: January 01, 2014

BrainSurge is an American children's game show that aired on Nickelodeon and was hosted by Jeff Sutphen. The show's format was adapted from the Tokyo Broadcasting System game show Brain Survivor. BrainSurge's challenges are designed to test the memory and comprehension skills of its contestants. In the first round, Brain Tease, the players had to answer questions about simple visual challenges. In round 2, Brain Fart, the players are told a story and have to answer questions about it. Getting a wrong answer means elimination from the game. The knockout round of Brain Fart has the remaining players complete a match-two memory game. In round 3, Brain Trip, the two remaining players must trace out three paths on a grid correctly. Players exit the game via the "Brain Drain", a foam filled slide resembling a human ear, and the winning contestant is slimed.
