Time Life did 2 versions of this commerical, this one was very popular. The only difference between the 2 commercials is this one is 1:00 and the other one is 2:00. The 1:00 Commercial leaves out Wendy Foster's "Britain: A women dreams of a black mountain that is moving with coal slag" and The Midwest "A women feels a sharp pain in her hand, far away at that exact moment her daughter screams as she is touching a hot pan"

Later that year in 1988, Time Life did another commercial for Mysteries of the Unknown with 2 different versions both long and short with the same time increments. The longer version has the man with a heart attack that sees a blinding light and sees a inner feeling of peace, And how can you explain the growing number of people who feel that they’ve had a brush with something beyond our everyday understanding?” "Maybe no one can fully explain these things, but they can no longer be ignored. That’s why Time-Life takes a serious look into this world with a remarkable new series, Mysteries of the Unknown.”
The short version of the follow up commercial for Mysteries of the Unknown starts off with “How would you explain it? A woman in Wisconsin is doing the dishes when suddenly, she’s possessed by a terrifying feeling.” The woman gasps as the screen fades to white. Footage of a little girl playing with a ball against a white screen. “She’s positive that her young daughter has just been in an accident.” Back to the woman in the kitchen. “She quickly makes a desperate phone call, only to learn that her feeling was true.” A green phone receiver dangles against a mustard kitchen wall. We are presented with more incidents: alien encounters all around the world“And how can you explain the growing number of people who feel that they’ve had a brush with something beyond our everyday understanding?” "Maybe no one can fully explain these things, but they can no longer be ignored. That’s why Time-Life takes a serious look into this world with a remarkable new series, Mysteries of the Unknown.”
How can you explain this 4 men are drawn to an Anglo Saxon fort sight of a fierce battle, they enter a ring full of trees and without warning one man is lifted 5 feet in the air and suspended for 30 seconds. They are so many hints of a world we can no longer expect and abilites that we can no longer ingore. "Sun and Pyramid scence from previous commerical, bloody handprint, and the commercial ends with the $12.99 shipping and handling and toll free number, thus omitting the Wisconsin women hugging her daughter.
