this show is the BOMB!!! it's by h. miazaki, the "japanese disney", the creator of "spirited away". awesome show!!! i'm surprised that not many people have heard of it...then again, not many people are interested in japanese anime. but it's a great show. i never got to watch it on tv, but i have a bunch of the shows taped off, and when i feel like a kid, i pull 'em out and watch 'em!! these most certainly need to be out on DVD!!

Wow....you know the funniest thing...

In the English dub, this theme was used at the END and the lyrics were scrapped!

I had no idea that this was the MAIN them but yeah, this show rocked! I have two tapes at home and I still love them!

Just to clarify the themes:

"Thames gawa no dance" ("Dance of the River Thames") is the ending theme and "Sora kara koboreta story" ("Story That Fell From the Sky") is the opening.

This show was developed in japan By TMS (Tokyo Movie Sinsha) and first rebroadcasted in Italy and the US with the scenes uncut, while the japanese version had scenes cut here and there.
