This series recounts the adventures of Ewoks years before the Battle of Endor. Here Wicket W. Warrick is a young Ewok struggling to achieve maturity in his community. This leads to a series of adventures with his friends, Princess Kneessa heir to the chieftain, Latara the aspiring musician and Teebo the animal empath. Together, they help the adults protect the village from their enemies like Morag the Tulga Witch and their rival species, the Duloks.

As memory serves, the show was later "retooled", given an Archie Comics feel and a bubbly (and, in my opinion, much worse) theme song. I loved the wierd original theme.

Ah, ewoks. I remember this was introduced alongside another starwars themed toon: Droids. Now when they first came out I was more interested in the droids (cause I loved those guys when I was a kid) But I must admit. The ewok series was way better than Droids. Seriously this was a good series. And I liked them in Return of the Jedi as well. Those live-action tv movies starring the ewoks...now THEY were crap! Otherwise...I don't care what anyone says, in the Star Wars universe, the Ewoks RULE.

This was a totally rad ( omg I sound like a valley girl.. like whatever..) serries. As a wee litle lass I soo wanted to be an ewok.. Its was a toss up with being an ewok or a hobit.. It made interesting game when I plade with the boys.. They where either gi-joe or heman and I was either an ewok or a hobbit.. Good times
