After Earth has been devastated by years of pollution and nuclear war, a group of scientists send out a team of young people as well as an intelligent chimpanzee to seek out the surviving pockets of human beings in order to help rebuild civilization. Also, as they meet these people they take time to teach them valuable life lessons along the way.

Nope! the Ark was powered by Hydrogen. It ran off tanks of water.

I've always felt that the ARK-2 would have made an awesome motorhome!

I remember this show... It kinda gave me pause to think about the future. It was kinda like Mad Maxx for kids!

The Ark-2 was actually a converted garbage truck! It broke down all the time, and the driver really couldn't see out of it. Also, there were no night time episodes.
