The World of David the Gnome was based on the world famous children's books The Gnomes and The Secret of the Gnomes by Dutch authors Rien Poortvliet and Wil Huygen.

David the Gnome, and his wife Lisa, were peace loving Gnomes who lived in a tree. They probably reminded more than a few children of their grandparents. Yeah I remembered this show. I have only vague memories of it, but I will always remember Swift. I liked him a lot.

Then again, foxes make anything cool.

I didn't grow up with this show, but I watched some of it on Youtube... and thought it was the best show ever. It had a fox (foxes are awesome), and it was about animals and nature, which interests me. I pretty much want to see all the other old school Nick Jr cartoons like Little Prince and Littl' Bits, 'cause old school cartoons are awesome:)

I know this is said, but I even had the book of the Gnomes collection book thingies. Each week you collect a new Gnome and the books made a picture when you put the all together. I thought it rocked!
