Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors

Jayce's Dad is a plant scientist who creates the Brain which is the hybrid plant human that can talk telepathically. Jayce is trying to find his father and get the help of a bootlegger who ends up helping a lot in a moany way. During an experiment done by his father, radiation infuses the plants with evil, and create the Monster Minds, sentient plants that can transform into vehicles. Vehicles can also be spawned from mutated vines. The only way to defeat the Monster Minds is to expose them to the Magic Root, of which Jayce and his father each have a part. In order to find his dad, Jayce uses some of his father's last creations, including five vehicles created for the Lightning Leage. These can operate independantly through an A.I. system, or be driven.

I have been looking for the name of the cartoon for years....and when I described it to people...they had no clue what I was talking about. I think they thought
Iwas crazy...but here it is!!! I used to love this cartoon!

westcoastfunk, the music was made by Shuki Levy and Haim Saban. TV composeres, not a band. If you want to listen to the intro just try You Tube or Google "Jayce And The Wheeled Warriors Theme Song".

This was one of my favorites on Fun Factory back in the 80's. I just got hold of all 63 episodes and even though the storyline is thin it's a blast seeing it again after 21 years.

This show REALLY needs to come back into syndication. Even if it's on late at night. Another classic
