He decides to use his power to assist the New York Police Department in solving unusual crimes, and in this series pilot, he teams up with cute cop Brooke and war buddy Ty to stop some terrorists from stealing a supply of toxic gas.

Sure is awfully clean cut for an abomination isn't he?
Even as a child with questionable tastes in tv shows I knew even then this show was absoluteley horrible.

THIS SHOW WAS GOOD FOR ITS TIME, BUT SOME HOW I BELIEVE IT DESERVES A REMAKE.

The transformations were actually 'state of the art' for tv special effects in the 1980's. Loved the show. Still do.

I don't remember much about the whole story but I do remember seeing this show when I was 10 years old, and thinking that this was an awesome show and looked forward to seeing it every week. To be able to change into different animals and saving the day. It was definitely ahead of it's time in effects. I don't remember much about the whole story but I do know I really enjoied. Wouldn't mind seeing a new version.
